Range for wood applications
Softwood inserts and soft wooden materials
RAMPA inserts are used with softwood and other soft materials, such as plywood and chipboard, to give material displacement and thereby guarantee optimal pull-out resistance and the best screw-in properties.
Type A inserts with slot and recess to receive the resulting chips is a common standard for soft types of wood and wooden materials.
Inserts for medium-hard to hardwoods as well as hard wooden materials
For medium-hard to hardwoods as well as some wooden materials, self-cutting RAMPA inserts are used. Here, the outside thread of the insert is specifically adapted to the material in order to achieve the corresponding effect. The special thread contour leads to a reduction in material tension when processed and also ensures a high penetration depth with its associated enormous load bearing in the application material.
Type SKL inserts meet these requirements, for example and are additionally able to provide calculable load-bearing evidence thanks to their approval according to the European Construction Ordnance ETA 14/0481.
Inserts for complex applications in the object area
Many customers do not just process one type of wood or wooden material, rather must adapt to the project-based requirements of their customers. RAMPA has developed universally usable types of inserts for this area such as the SKD30 and SKD330 types.
Thanks to their patented thread contour, they are suitable for soft and hard types of wood and wooden materials and thereby help reduce inventory levels and the variety of parts used in the companies.
