What are your advantages of our „power products“ with ETA title?

Whether in wood, staircase or window construction – our ETA-certified products are applied wherever guaranteed mechanical and calculated values are required.

However, what does ETA actually stands for?
The ETA (European Technical Approval) is recognized proof of the technical fitness for use of a non-harmonized construction product in the sense of the Construction Product Directive of the member states of the EU.

By extending the ETA approval, we are now in a position to cover many additional areas of application with our ETA-certified connectors, for example through reduced edge distances or shorter overall lengths. This opens up completely new possibilities!

Due to the given geometry of the blind frame, the user is confronted with the problem of small edge distances. This challenge could not be solved by previous ETA of the RAMPA inserts type SKL & BL, because the minimum distance was 3 x diameter and often could not be realized in reality. By optimizing the products, numerous tests have proven that the corresponding edge distance is reduced to 1.5 x diameter and that all necessary static requirements are met. This is confirmed and certified by the new ETA-12/0481.

Due to this innovation, it is now possible to install French balconies or fall protection systems directly into the window frame. This eliminates the need for time-consuming installation in masonry and costly individual static inspections.

The specified counterbattening requires a low screw-in depth of the sleeves. This challenge could not be solved by the previous ETA of the RAMPA inserts type SKL & BL, because the minimum screw-in depth was 3 x diameter and often could not be realized in reality.

By optimizing the products, numerous tests have proven that the corresponding screw-in depth can be reduced to 1.2 x diameter and that all necessary static requirements can be met. This is confirmed and certified by the new ETA-12/0481. Facade elements can now be installed with sleeves of shorter overall length.

According to our previous ETA-certified products were guaranteed for softwoods only. The extended ETA approval however additionally includes hardwoods e.g. like oak and beech as well as wood-based materials (OSB, MDF, multiplex and chipboard).
